My name is Don Carman, This is a Blog about my modeling efforts to build a model railroad. My favorite railroad is Conrail and I am building a 24 ft x 28 ft layout in my basement. It will be based in Pennsylvania around 1991. It will be constructed using a combination of open grid and cookie cutter styles… Using blue construction foam to make hills and mountains. These will be covered with plaster, ground foam and sifted dirts.
